Gender Inequality, Infrastructure, and Climate Change play an important role in our society. Gender Inequality is people of all genders who have equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities. It is affected by women, men, trans, and gender diverse people, children, and families impacting people of all ages and backgrounds. Gender Inequality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity in which societies value women and men equally, safer, and healthier. Infrastructure is the support system of industrial and agricultural production, foreign, and domestic businesses. It makes the work process easier resulting in positivity and high productivity. It includes communication, transportation, sewage, education system, health system, clean drinking water, and monetary system. It develops countries making progress economically and socially. As for Climate Change, in a pattern of weather, related changes in oceans, land surfaces, and ice sheets occur over time in decades or longer. In Speech and Communication, Gender Inequality is considered masculine or feminine holding truth in one culture. It expresses people by relying on cultural constructs of society. Through Speech and Communication, Infrastructure refers to the backbone of of communication systems varying on operated broadcastings and telecommunication services. It is a core component that connects through upstream production such as voice, data, and audiovisual services. In my Speech And Communication Class, in groups, students had to talk about and explained a specific topic through different interviews demonstrating similarities and differences in our world by people's interactions.Group 1 was given the topic of Climate Change. They talked about the impacts of climate change and it has affected us throughout the world. For example, warming temperatures, changes in precipitation, increases of frequency in weather events, and rise of sea levels. These effects of climate change have threatened our health by the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the weather we experience. It has become a serious issue in which these aspects of climate change have disrupted people's lives and sectors of the economy. They also explained the main cause of climate change by how it has impacted our environment physically through the release of chemicals and fossil fuels. Other causes were greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, absorption of the sun's energy such as agriculture and and deforestation, and volcanic activity that has changed the surface of the earth. Climate Change was also seen through the perspective of America. The group talked about what should be done to improve climate change through the aspects of environments. For example, the majority of Americans had said that the government wasn't doing enough for our environment. Very little action is taken to address the policies of our climate; showing the perspectives of the world's climate, have shown if it has increased or decreased based on our people. For example, some days are cold or hot and others are wet or dry depending on the way the environment and the people live in it. However, because of the climate changes in our weather, besides the people who live around us, animals and plants as well as different kinds of species have had certain difficulties that has changed the way they interact in their environments. For instance, some animals can live in cold areas and others in hot areas. But, in some hot areas or cold areas, many animals can't live in it because they won't survive do to the environment and their eating habits causing them to die or have certain health issues. With the different explanations of each person in the group, what I have learned from Climate Change is that it’s a reality we cannot deny because it can lead to an action of absolute ignorance and utter cruelty towards ourselves and the world we live in. Through Climate Change, I understand the changes in climates and how we can prepare for the future. It helps me tackle the consequences of global warming by the changes of behavior and how it has adapted as a global emergency.Group 2 presented on Infrastructure. Infrastructure relates to underlying systems and services that a country or organization requires to function successfully. It encompasses all physical systems and services, such as road and railway networks, utilities, sewage, water, telephone lines and cell towers, air control towers, and bridges, law enforcement, emergency services, healthcare, and education. It demands significant upfront investments for an economics' productivity. The group also talked about different pros and cons issues facing the U.S nowadays. Pros of infrastructures such as enabling trades, powering businesses, creating more jobs and more opportunities for struggling communities; cons such as animal and vehicle collision, increased of vulnerability out of control fires, and causes of global climate changes over time has been contributed all over the U.S. State departments, local-level agencies, and associations have also impacted infrastructure during the past and now. For example, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal was a deal of $65 million with roads, bridges, clean drinking water, high speed internet, communities left behind, and climate crisis. It allowed the nation to modernize it making it a safer and more resilient network. In the past, infrastructure natural and synthetic resources such as lighter metals, rare earths, new alloys, and synthetic products like plastics were exploited into modern industry. This was made to speed up production in machinery. Many events of infrastructure, such as the Covid-19 Pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian War have impacted our industry where Covid-19 vaccination campaigns were launching slower than other European countries. Modern economies that rely on infrastructure such as trade and commerce, could not exist on a modern scale without efficient transportation, communication, energy, water, and waste disposal systems. Maintaining, expanding, and modernizing, our infrastructure throughout the world, is a way that we can ensure that it is vital to have strong and economic growth. Not only is infrastructure based on roads and buildings, but its also based on how the people maintain the movement of goods and other resources from place to place. Through Infrastructure, I have learned that technology is optimize to increase communication, create efficiencies, and increase productivity. If it is flexible, reliable, and secured, it can help meet the goals and provide a competitive edge in market and also provide the economic incentives to public and private participants.Last but not least, in Group 3, which was the group I was assigned to, I had to present the topic of Gender Inequality. In this presentation the group and myself had talked about different aspects of Gender Inequality. Different sections such as LGBTQ, Sports Pay, Pay Gap/Work Space, Health Care, Sexual Harassment, and History & Psychology. In these topics we had addressed how they all affect Gender Inequality. Through these different aspects of Gender Inequality, we had discussed the similarities and differences that both men and women and how it has affected the world in positive and negative ways. The amount of money men and women were paid in the past and in the present, the way they are treated socially and economically, and how it has affected our health and the way we live is a way that we can work towards it and change the way we all communicate with each other. Through Gender Inequality, I have learned that not only does it affect men, women, and children, but between genders that stunt on economic growth while hindering its development. It is the equal opportunity in which people contribute socially and economically to make sure that our community enhances in great value and prosperity.
